Its been a long dry spell sense my last post to the Blog. Some of the people that were making my life miserable has slaked up some, but there are a select few that still bug me to the limit. I just try to not let it bother me.
You know I'm a Ham and we need big antennas, but may be this one is too big. I hope to get it in the air very soon. Those tower sections are 10 foot each and the antenna is almost 30 foot long. It is used for 144 Mhz. SSB. The antenna at the very top is a 4 element vertical Yagi beam for FM. I'll post another photo when its up and flying.
Here is a free program that I gave a try and found to be just great. It is called "
Photofiltre" and you can download it here:
http://www.snapfiles.com/get/photofiltre.htmlIt is a photo editor that is almost as good as
Paint Shop Pro but forget the $100 price tag because it's free. I have it loaded on my laptop just to enhance and do minor editing for photos I email. It's great for resizing for the dial-up users.
Try it - you'll like it !
